Corgi Insurance Appoints Daniel Oldham as Head of Underwriting for Trucking

EmitenTrust.com ATLANTA, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Corgi Insurance recently announced the appointment of Daniel Oldham, CPCU, as Head of Underwriting for Trucking, bringing more than a decade of commercial insurance and transportation underwriting experience to the company.

Oldham joins Corgi with extensive experience developing and managing transportation insurance programs, leading underwriting teams, and building profitable books of business across specialty insurance markets.

Most recently, Oldham served as Vice President and Head of Transportation at Canopius Group, where he grew the company's transportation book from $10 million to $39 million while maintaining underwriting profitability. During his tenure, he also developed and launched a cannabis transportation insurance program, built an admitted trucking program, managed reinsurance relationships, and expanded transportation offerings across admitted and non-admitted markets.

Prior to Canopius, Oldham held commercial underwriting positions at NBIS and Great West Casualty Company, where he focused on specialized transportation, trucking, commercial auto, workers' compensation, inland marine, and excess and umbrella coverage. He began his career in insurance brokerage before moving into underwriting.
