TORONTO, Oct. 15, 2026 /CNW/ -- Flinks, the embedded finance platform, today launched two new offerings for financial institutions and fintechs. Professional Services builds new financial capabilities alongside a client's team, and Managed Services runs the infrastructure and operations behind those capabilities once they are live.

Many financial institutions already have the APIs to offer new services to their customers and partners. Deciding what to build on top of them, and how to turn it into revenue, is harder. Internal builds compete with roadmaps set well in advance, and every launched capability becomes another system internal teams must maintain. Flinks takes on that gap with these two offerings.

Professional Services follows three stages: Scope, Build, and Manage. Flinks starts with the client's goals and use case, and its consulting team can help identify opportunities when a use case isn't yet defined. Dedicated Flinks squads then handle architecture and delivery, building in security and regulatory requirements from the start. A few examples of what Flinks can build include account switching, investment transfers, payroll switching, white-label credit underwriting, and distribution through third-party apps. If it connects accounts, makes financial data useful, or moves money, Flinks can build it with you.

Managed Services covers the infrastructure and operations financial institutions need to run financial capabilities over time: partner onboarding, accreditation, consent management, governance, service-level commitments, and support, along with the read and write APIs underneath. For institutions that share data with third parties, one connection to Flinks replaces managing dozens of data-recipient relationships directly. Flinks' open banking infrastructure, previously offered as Flinks Outbound, is now part of Managed Services.

The two offerings are designed to work together. A capability built through Professional Services can move directly into Managed Services at launch, operated by the same team that built it.

"Canadian institutions are sitting on infrastructure that can power a new generation of financial services, and the ones that act now will define what banking looks like here," said Julien Cousineau, Founder & CEO, Flinks. "Speed to market is what counts. Professional Services and Managed Services give institutions a partner that builds alongside their teams and keeps running what we build together, so new capabilities reach customers sooner."

"Our clients kept bringing us ideas that weren't on anyone's roadmap, including ours," said Eddie Beqaj, Chief Revenue Officer, Flinks. "Now we can build that with you, and we'll be there to run it after it launches."

Flinks works with financial institutions and fintechs including EQ Bank, National Bank of Canada, and Wealthsimple, and connects to more than 15,000 institutions.
