Mesirow deepens Wealth Management platform, hires industry veteran Paul Arnold

EmitenTrust.com CHICAGO, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mesirow, an independent, employee-owned financial services firm, today announced that Paul Arnold, former Global Head of Multi-Asset Research at Morningstar Investment Management, joined Mesirow Wealth Management as Managing Director, Head of Investment Solutions, effective August 3, 2026. Arnold will help deepen the firm's research offerings by translating sophisticated investment research into practical strategies.

During his tenure at Morningstar, Arnold translated research into investment strategies, serving as the head of their multi-asset portfolio management team, which managed over $10 billion in assets. In that role, he was the lead portfolio manager for the firm's ETF Asset Allocation, Active-Passive Asset Allocation and ESG Asset Allocation managed portfolio series.
Arnold will collaborate closely with the Mesirow Wealth Management research team to strengthen the firm's investment platform. His responsibilities include strategic asset allocation, manager research and due diligence, portfolio construction and the development of differentiated investment solutions.

Arnold holds a bachelor's degree in finance and international business from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Master's of Business Administration, with honors, in analytical finance and economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute. Additionally, he serves on the Anti-Defamation League Midwest Regional Board and is a founding member of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
