Raghu Sastry brings more than two decades of deep technical leadership across semiconductors, enterprise infrastructure, mobile platforms, and financial technology. As CTO, he will lead ModernRails' technology strategy, platform architecture, and product innovation, with a mandate to scale the company's orchestration capabilities across domestic and cross-border payment rails.

He previously held senior engineering and leadership roles at Agilent Technologies, PMC-Sierra, Junowallet, and Zeuss Technologies, where he led the development of scalable, production-grade systems spanning hardware and software stacks. His technical background includes VLSI design, distributed systems, server and storage architecture, mobile application frameworks, and payments and compliance infrastructure for regulated financial institutions.

 At ModernRails, Raghu will focus on advancing the company's ISO 20022-native architecture, enabling rich data interoperability across payment systems, and driving real-time orchestration across key global rails, including domestic real-time payment networks and cross-border settlement frameworks. His leadership will be central to integrating messaging and clearing into a unified execution layer—eliminating fragmentation and enabling deterministic, auditable transaction flows.
